Callfield Companion Boarding Policies

Hours

Our Boarding hours are from 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.
Please respect these hours and do not bring your pets outside these hours!
NO EXCEPTIONS!

All Boarders must pay 1/2 of their planned reservation at the time they are put on our schedule. We will not put them on the boarding schedule without this deposit! You must give us 48 hours notice of cancellation in order to get your deposit back.

Requirements

In order to provide your pet with a safe boarding environment we require that every boarded pet be healthy and have:

  • - A current Rabies vaccination
  • - A yearly DHPPCV for dogs
  • - A yearly FVRCP for cats
  • - A Kennel Cough/ Bordetella vaccination within the past 6 months is required for dogs.
  • - A yearly Influenza vaccination is required for dogs. (Preferably your dog should have two flu vaccinations two to four weeks apart prior to boarding.)

***Proof of these vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian will be required.***

If your reservation is during a Holiday time you will need to give us 5 days cancellation notice in order to get your deposit back.

ALL CATS MUST BE IN A CARRIER WHEN THEY COME IN!

Each pet must also be free of internal, as well as external parasites such as intestinal worms, fleas, and ticks.

In the event your pet becomes ill, we will initiate all necessary medical and/ or surgical treatments. The pet's owner will be responsible for all charges that result from treatments provided.

There is no discount for multiple pets in a single cage or run. All pets that are found to be infected with internal or external parasites will be treated at the owner's expense.

In the event your pet is left with us for 14 days past the reservation and we are unable to contact you, we will consider the pet abandoned and the pet will become the property of Callfield Companion Animal Clinic.

We must have consent for someone else to pick up your pet please notify the kennel technician of any other persons coming to pick up your pet. Please also have a method of payment ready in case you yourself can not come get your pet. We do expect payment on the day your pet is picked up from boarding.

If you are boarding over a Holiday you will be expected to pay 1/2 of your stay for boarding as a deposit before you can be put on the schedule. We will refund your deposit if you cancel your reservation at least 5 days before the reservation date.

New clients receive a FREE night of boarding.
